ACA is founded in Kent, Ohio by professors at Kent State University. Initial meetings at “The Chicken Shack” in Kent Ohio!

1995–2005

Growth as a hub for African student networking and professional fellowship

Launch of the ACA Scholarship Program and Gala

Growth as a hub for African student networking and professional fellowship

Expanded Scholarship Support at Fundraising Gala
