It is a privilege to serve as President of the African Community Association (ACA). For more than 20 years, ACA has united African professionals across Northeast Ohio while engaging meaningfully with the broader community.
I am especially proud to serve alongside our Board of Trustees—professors, entrepreneurs, educators, and corporate leaders representing many African nationalities. Together, we share a deep commitment to uplifting the African community, expanding educational opportunities, and building bridges of connection and support. Their dedication and wisdom strengthen our mission and ensure that ACA continues to grow as a beacon of unity and purpose.
At the heart of our work is education. Through our scholarship program and cultural initiatives, we invest in students, elevate African voices, and celebrate the promise of tomorrow’s leaders. Our annual Scholarship Gala and Dinner Dance embodies this spirit—not only as a celebration of achievement and culture, but as a reminder of what we can accomplish when we come together as one community.
With the continued support of our trustees, partners, and friends, I am confident that ACA will keep rising to meet the needs of today while inspiring the generations to come.
